Clearlake is a city in Lake County, California, United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a population of approximately 15,250 people and a total area of 10.6 square miles (27 km2).

City Council

The city council is the legislative body of the city, responsible for making laws that govern the day to day activities of the city including financial roles. In addition to adopting ordinances, the city council also appoints the city attorney and city manager. The council is made up of five members directly elected by the city residents. Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm. Council members include Joyce Overton, Russell Perdock, Bruno Sabatier, Nick Bennett and Phil Harris.
