Cotati is an incorporated city in Sonoma County, California, United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a population of approximately 7,265 people and a total area of 1.89 square miles (4.9 km2).

City Council

The City Council is the legislative and policy-making body of the City. The council using its legislative powers, formulated policies, resolutions and ordinances which affect the daily lives of the residents of Cotati. In addition, the city council acts as the Successor Agency to the former Cotati Community Redevelopment Agency.

Council meetings are held on the second and fourth of every month from 7:00 pm in the City Council Chamber at Cotati City Hall.
